Emmett Carl Grimm (Carl) was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia in 1946 and died on January 25, 2025, in San Francisco, after a long illness. Dr. Stoner was especially pleased to welcome him back to the University of Delaware as one of the first PhD students in the new Art Conservation Research doctoral program.
